HEU HOSE ASSEMBLIES “BL” AND “BM” REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 2)

INSTALLATION:

1.

Install new preformed packing (A) on adapter (B). Use adjustable wrench to install adapter (B) into “LNCH”

port at front of manual control valve (C).

2.

Install new preformed packing (A) on hose assembly “BL” (D). Use adjustable wrench to hold adapter (B) and

use wrench to install hose assembly “BL” (D) to adapter (B).

3.

Install new preformed packing (A) on adapter (E). Use adjustable wrench to install adapter (E) into “LNCH” port

at crew compartment bulkhead (F).

4.

Install new preformed packing (A) on hose assembly “BL” (D). Use adjustable wrench to hold adapter (E) and

use wrench to install hose assembly “BL” (D) to adapter (E).

5.

Bleed hydraulic system (page 3-72).

6.

Service hydraulic reservoir (LO-12).

7.

Check for leaks and correct as necessary.
