If intermediate case second reduction feed pinion (1) and boring case rack

feed idler gear (2) are alined as noted in frame 8 and shown in view A,

add one feed pinion bearing shim (3).

If intermediate case second reduction feed pinion (1) and boring case rack

feed idler gear (2) are alined as noted in frame 8 and shown in view B,

take off one feed pinion bearing shim (3).
