EQUIPMENT CONDITIONS

Engine and transmission

1.

Remove shutoff valve (1) and adapter (2) from engine oil cooler (3).

2.

Remove shutoff valve (7) and adapter (6) from water manifold (4).

3.

Remove high-temperature switch (5) from water manifold (4).

4.

Remove water temperature sending unit (8) from water manifold (4).

CAUTION

Plug all open ports to prevent dirt or contamination from entering

engine.

NOTE

Perform this task when preparing removed engine for installation

in vehicle.
