Install three bearings in center plate; one for each rear countershaft.

Install the center plate on the rear case. Tap down with a wooden mallet to properly seat.

Install remaining three bearings in the center plate (one on each front countershaft).

(16)

Instail spacers (3, fig. 7-111) on the three countershafts (small o.d. down).
