Put a rope around and through the gear cluster, as shown, and attach a hoist to the rope.

NOTE

In step (27), if the countershafts do not

aline with the bearing in the center

plate, start over at step (22).

Gently lift the gear cluster, checking that all teeth are properly meshed and install the

gear cluster in the case center plate.
