19-15. Disassembly.

a.

Using retainer pliers remove clip that secures crank handle (fig. 19-20) to cranking mechanism

and pull off the crank handle.

b.

Remove ash receptacle on driver’s door only, by removing two screws.

Remove three screws and washers that fasten door check strap assembly and twelve screws that

faster? hinge.

d.

Remove 21 screws that fasten inner door panel to frame and lift off the panel.

e.

Remove four screws that fasten upper door latch to door frame.

f.

Disconnect latch rod (fig. 19-20, sheet 2) from upper door latch; then remove the upper door

latch.
