Always support alternator rotor during removal.

Failure to do so

may cause personnel injury or equipment damage.

Remove rotor (29) and spacer (30) from drive end housing (8).

Remove seal (28) from drive end housing (8). Discard seal (28).

30.

Remove seal (31), bearing (32), and seal (33) from drive end housing (8).

Discard seals (31) and (33).

Remove nut (25), lockwasher (26), and ground stud (27) from drive end housing (8).

Discard

lockwasher (26).
