Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working

around vehicle.

Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury.

Jewelry

and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment, or

severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.

Step 10.

Open pump operator’s panel (WP 0207).

Check for 22 to 28 VDC between pump

operator’s panel wire harness wire 2834 (red) at REEL DISCHARGE switch terminal

and a known good ground.

If 22 to 28 VDC are not present, repair wire 2834 in pump operator’s panel

wire harness if repairable (TM 9-2320-325-14&P), or replace pump

operator’s panel wire harness (WP 0303).

Step 11.

Pull battery disconnect switch to off position (WP 0007).

Put pump operator’s panel

REEL DISCHARGE switch to OPEN position (WP 0004), check for continuity across

REEL DISCHARGE switch from terminal to terminal.

a.

If there is continuity, repair wire 4098 in pump operator’s panel wire

harness if repairable (TM 9-2320-325-14&P), or replace pump

operator’s panel wire harness (WP 0303).

b.

If there is no continuity, replace REEL DISCHARGE switch (WP 0220).

Step 12.

Put pump operator’s panel PUMP COOLER switch to ON position (WP 0004).

Check if

cab PUMP COOLER indicator illuminates.

If cab PUMP COOLER indicator does not illuminate, go to Step 15.
