Install hump hose if removed (WP 0187)

Remove wheel chocks (TM 9-2320-422-10)

Step 12.
Check if air can be heard escaping from water tank fill cover vent.

If air cannot be heard escaping from water tank fill cover vent, fault
corrected.

Be sure to wear proper eye protection to prevent injury or death.
Be careful when
using high air pressure. High air pressure can blow out parts, hoses, or debris with
force.
Air pressure should not exceed 50 PSI (345 kPa) during procedure. Failure to
comply may result in damage to equipment. Failure to comply may result in injury
to personnel.

Step 13.
Disconnect air hose from PUMP BLOW OUT adapter (WP 0033).
Release air pressure
from system.
Slide hump hose on to pipe (WP 0187).
Connect air hose to PUMP
BLOW OUT adapter (WP 0033).
While an assistant maintains 50 PSI (345 kPa) on
pressure governor display (WP 0033).
Check for air escaping from tank-to-pump valve.

If air can be heard escaping from tank-to-pump valve, replace tank-to-
pump valve (WP 0322).

If air cannot be heard escaping from tank-to-pump valve, replace tank
fill & re-circulating line valve (WP 0191).
