Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily.

Keep fuel away from open fire and

keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when working with fuel.

When working

with fuel, post signs that read NO SMOKING WITHIN 50 FEET of vehicle.

Failure to

comply may cause injury to death to personnel.

NOTE

Pump house heater fuel pump will make an audible clicking sound when operating.

Step 7.

Put DIESEL HEATER TEST switch to off position (WP 0004). While an assistant puts

DIESEL HEATER TEST switch to on position, check if pump house heater fuel pump

operates.

If pump house heater fuel pump does not operate, go to Step 10.

Step 8.

Put DIESEL HEATER TEST switch to off position (WP 0004). Pull battery disconnect

switch to off position (WP 0007).

Remove pump house panel G (WP 0339). Check fuel

line from pump house heater to fuel tank for leaks, kinks and damage.

If fuel line is leaking, kinked, or damaged, replace fuel line (WP 0308).
