c. Body Disassembly
NOTE
Both engine oil filter bodies are disassembled the same.
1. Remove cotter pin (10), filter element (9), cup (13), and spring (12) from center post (4) and body (5).
Discard cotter pin (10) and filter element (9).
2. Remove center post (4) and gasket (11) from body (5). Discard gasket (11).
