within 5-35 milliohms?
• Is GO still displayed?

weak batteries or tight
engine.
• Proceed to Battery Tests,
NG81.

• Proceed to TM 9-4910-571-12&P
for offset fault isolation.
• Is resistance high?

• Resistance is low.
• Look for short in starter
circuit.
• If none found, replace starter
motor (WP 0091 00).
• Engage fuel shutoff switch
and try to crank engine
again.
• If GO is still displayed
after crank attempt,
starter is not being
energized.
• Proceed to step 3.

• Inspect and clean starter and battery
cables.
• Check batteries per NG81 test.
• Repeat step 1.
• If resistance is still high, replace starter
motor (WP 0091 00).
NOTE
After completing repair, rerun the GO-Chain
tests to verify that the problem is fixed and
that no other problems exist.
