18.
Position clutch housing (2) on bench with turbine shaft (3) facing downward and install snapring (1)
in groove on clutch housing (2).
19.
Position PTO gear (5) on clutch housing (2). Ensure chamfer on inside diameter of PTO gear (5)
faces downward.
20.
Insert shim stock (6) between PTO gear (5) and clutch housing (2) to compress snapring (1) into
clutch housing (2). Slide PTO gear (5) down on clutch housing (2).
21.
Remove shim stock (6) to lock snapring (1) on groove in PTO gear (5).
22.
Install new seal ring (4) on turbine shaft (3).
INSTALLATION
1.
Apply oil-soluble grease to thrust washer (8) and install thrust washer (8) on forward clutch and
housing assembly (7).
2.
Install forward clutch and housing assembly (7) in transmission (9).
3.
Rotate forward clutch and housing assembly (7) two revolutions while pushing downward to ensure
all fourth clutch internal-splined plates engage.
4.
Install transmission oil pump (WP 0374 00).
