CONDITION/INDICATION
Does test equipment pass offset test?
DECISION
Yes - Go to (Step 6 - Is continuity measured between rear side marker light ground contact and a known good
ground?).
No - Test equipment failed offset. Contact your Supervisor.
STEP 6
Is continuity measured between rear side marker light ground contact and a known good ground?

Remove two screws and lens cover (WP
0054).

2.
Connect button probe cable red lead to rear side marker light ground contact.
3.
Connect button probe cable black lead to a known good ground.
4.
Perform ICE Test 91.
5.
Meter should display a reading less than 200 ohms.
CONDITION/INDICATION
Is continuity measured between rear side marker light ground contact and a known good ground?
DECISION
Yes - Replace rear side marker light assembly (WP
0054). Go to (Step 8 - Do rear side marker lights operate?) to
verify problem is solved.
No - Go to (Step 7 - Can rear side marker light harness wire 1435 be repaired?).
STEP 7
Can rear side marker light harness wire 1435 be repaired?
NOTE
Wire is not repairable if damage cannot be visually located or if a prior repair has already
reduced length of wire. Wire is not repairable if after repair, wire is too short to reach its
connection point.
