TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
12 VDC ELECTRICAL - STOPLIGHT(S) DO NOT OPERATE
STEP 1
Are 10 to 12 vdc measured on wire 1003C/22 at LED composite light?
WARNING
Remove all jewelry such as rings, ID tags, bracelets, etc. prior to working on or around vehicle.
Jewelry and tools can catch on equipment, contact positive electrical circuits, and cause a
direct short, severe burns, or electrical shock. Failure to comply may result in injury or death
to personnel.
NOTE
•
The following troubleshooting procedures cover the left stoplight, but they apply to
both stoplights.
•
All electrical wires and components listed in this troubleshooting procedure are
illustrated and located in Electrical System Schematic.
1.
Disconnect wire 1003C from nonoperating LED composite light wire 22.
2.
Connect button probe cable to MSD/ICE test equipment (WP
0004).
