Brake foot pedal is spring-loaded.

Before working in driver's compart-

ment, block vehicle tracks.

Release brake foot pedal (1).

Adjust brake warning sensitive switch (2).

Refer to page 2-626.

Loosen self-locking nut (3) and hexagon

plain nut (4).

Release parking brake handle (5).

Push pawl (6) against spring pin (7) to

disengage parking brake.

Tighten hexagon plain nut (4) and self-

spring pin (7).
