Check oil level of upper and lower sections.

Open access door in left floor cover.
To check upper section oil level, remove plug
(1) and check that oil level is 0.25 in. (0.64 cm)
below top of plug hole.
Fill with OEA (item 14.2, appx C) until oil level
is 0.25 in. (0.64 cm) below top of plug hole.
Dry cleaning solvent (SD2) is toxic and
flammable. Wear protective goggles and
gloves and use only in well-ventilated area.
Clean plug (1) with dry cleaning solvent (item 10,
appx C ) and install.
To check lower section, remove plug dipstick
(2) and check that oil level indication is at
knurled end on dipstick.

Fill with OEA (item 14.2, appx C) until oil level
indicates on knurled end of dipstick.
Install plug dipstick (2).
