Remove motor plate

Hydraulic motor seal contains parts
under spring tension. Use caution
when removing hydraulic motor seal.
Using retaining ring pliers, remove retain-
ing ring (1 3) from motor housing (3).
NOTE
Hydraulic motor seal is made up of
parts that are not repairable. If any
part(s) are damaged, repair is by re-
placement of entire hydraulic motor
seal.
Remove hydraulic motor seal (14) from
motor housing (3).
Using retaining ring pliers, remove retain-
ing ring (1 5) from motor housing (3).
Remove shouldered shaft ( 16) from
motor housing (3).
