REMOVE/INSTALL BATTERY LEADS (M1068 ONLY) — Continued

1.

Remove jumper lead (1) as follows:

a.

Remove nut (2), jumper lead (1), and screw (3) from battery positive terminal (4).

b.

Remove nut (2), jumper lead (1), and screw (3) from battery negative terminal (5).

2.

Remove circuit lead (1), circuit lead (2), circuit lead (3), and circuit lead (4) as follows:

a.

Remove nut (5), circuit lead 7 (1), and screw (6) from battery negative terminal (7).

b.

Remove nut (8), screw (9), two washers (10), and circuit lead 7 (1) from hull mount.

c.

Remove nut (5), screw (6), circuit 31 lead (2), circuit 48B lead (3), and circuit 6 lead (4) from battery positive

terminal (11).

d.

Remove circuit 7 lead (1), circuit 31 lead (2), circuit 6 lead (4), and three-hole grommet (12) from battery box

(13). Discard grommet.

e.

Remove circuit 48B lead (3) and grommet (14) from battery box (13). Discard grommet.
