REPLACE BATTERIES AND RETAINERS (M1064 ONLY) — Continued

CAUTION

Place batteries with positive (+) and negative (-) terminals as shown in diagram. Damage to

components will occur if batteries are hooked up wrong.

1.

Place batteries (1) in battery box (2).

2.

Place hooks (3) in battery frame (4).

3.

Place two retainers (5) on two hooks (3). Secure with two washers (6) and nuts (7).

4.

Place clamp (8) on two retainers (5). Secure with washer (9) and bolt (10).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Install terminal lugs (WP 0300 00) and connect battery leads (WP 0294 00).

2.

Turn MASTER SWITCH to ON to check that battery is installed correctly. Master switch on light should come on

(see your -10).

3.

Start engine (see your -10).

4.

Raise and lock ramp (see your -10).

5.

Stop engine (see your -10).
