REPLACE IDLER WHEEL — Continued

INSTALLATION

NOTE

Inboard and outboard idler wheels are different. Do not mix them up. Inboard wheel (marked

11669373) is 3-1/4 inches (83 mm) wide. Outboard wheel (marked 10907799) is 3-1/8 inches

(79 mm) wide.

1.

Place two idler wheels (2) on idler wheel hub (3).

NOTE

Install inboard and outboard idler wheel in the right order. Make sure spokes do not line up.

2.

Secure two wheels (2) to hub (3) with eight new locknuts (1). TIGHTEN LOCKNUTS TO 150-170 LB-FT (203-230

N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench.

3.

Install track over idler wheels.

4.

Connect track and adjust tension (see your -10).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1 .

Road test carrier to check that idler wheel is installed properly (WP 0120 00).

2.

Stop/shutdown engine (see your -10).
