INSTALLATION

1.

Move sprocket wheel assembly (1) to opposite side of carrier. Install sprocket wheel assembly (1) on final drive (2).

Secure with ten self-locking screws (3). Repeat for other side of carrier. Have helper assist.

2.

TIGHTEN TEN SCREWS (3) TO 170–190 LB-FT (231–258 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench.

3.

Reverse track direction. Use towing vehicle.

4.

Align tracks in back of carrier. Tow disabled carrier onto tracks. Use towing vehicle.

5.

Install tracks (8) on carrier.

a.

(H): Notify driver in tow vehicle to stop when seven track shoes (4) have passed the fifth road wheel (6). Using a

crowbar, position track (8) on sprockets (7). Notify driver to start carrier engine and slowly drive forward.

b.

(H): Use crowbar to guide track (8) until over idler wheels (5)

.Notifydrivertostopwhenthreetrackshoes(4)

remain before set of road wheels (6).

c.

(H): Repeat for other side of carrier.
