cover (WP 0445 00)

Driver’s hatch periscope guard and quick release

assembly removed (WP 0446 00)

REMOVAL

WARNING

Falling hatch could seriously injure you.

Keep head lower than closed hatch position when opening or closing hatch. Keep hands clear

of hatch rim when closing. Make sure latch pin or mechanism is fully engaged when hatch

is in any open position.

WARNING

Lifting or moving objects in excess of 70 pounds could injure you. Get an assistant or use a

lifting device to move heavy objects.

CAUTION

Hold hatch straight up to release spring tension to avoid damaging equipment. After removing

retainer, lower hatch.
