REPLACE LEFT SIDE RACK BASE (M1068 ONLY) — Continued

REMOVAL

1.

Remove eight screws (1) and two bumpers (2) from rack base (3).

2.

Remove two pins (4), lower two work surface assemblies (5), and remove two springs (6).

3.

Raise two work surface assemblies (5). Remove four locknuts (7), screws (8), washers (9), washers (10), and two work

surface assemblies (5) from rack base (3). Discard locknuts.

4.

Remove two screws (11), washers (12), and pins (4) with lanyards from two frames (13).

5.

Remove 12 screws (14) and two work surfaces (15) from two frames (13).

6.

Remove two bolts (16), locknuts (17), and washers (18) from two frames (13). Discard locknuts.

7.

Remove two bolts (16), locknuts (17), and washers (18) from rack base (3). Discard locknuts.

8.

Remove two locknuts (19), screws (20), four washers (21), and rack base (3) from sponson lugs. Discard locknuts.

9.

Remove three screws (22), washers (23), and rack base (3) from bulkhead mounts.
