REPLACE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT HEATER AIR INTAKE HOSE AND
EXHAUST PIPE (M577A2 ONLY) — Continued

INSTALLATION
1.
Place two new gaskets (1), exhaust elbow (2), and intake elbow (3) on carrier top deck. Secure with six screws (4).
2.
Install clamp (5) and exhaust pipe (6) on exhaust elbow (2). Tighten clamp.
3.
Install clamp (7) and hose (8) on intake elbow (3). Tighten clamp.
4.
Install heater in carrier (WP 0633 00).
5.
Install clamp (9) and exhaust pipe (6) on heater. Tighten clamp.
WARNING
Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These
compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you
dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.
Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.
Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.
6.
If hoses (8) and (10) are being replaced, apply adhesive to new hose (10). Install hose (10) in hose (8).
7.
Install clamp (11) and hose (8) with hose (10) on heater intake. Tighten clamp.
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Connect battery ground strap (WP 0294 00).
2.
Start heater (see your -10). Check for intake and exhaust leaks. Turn heater off.
