Equipment Condition

Discharge hydraulic pressure (para 6–3.1)

Bleed hydraulic system (para 6–3.1)

Removal

CAUTION

All hydraulic lines and ports must be capped to prevent contaminants from entering the hydraulic

system and causing internal damage to hydraulic components.

Remove hose clamp (1), nonmetallic hose (2), and adapter (3).

Remove nut (4), clinch sleeve (5), check valve (6), and preformed packing (7). Discard preformed packing.

Remove locknut (8), flat washer (9), preformed packing (10), reducer (11), and preformed packing (12). Dis-

card preformed packings and locknut.

Remove locknut (13), packing retainer (14), and preformed packing (15). Discard preformed packing and

locknut.

Remove locknut (16), flat washer (17), preformed packing (18), reducer (19), and preformed packing (20).

Discard preformed packings and locknut.

Remove two cap screws (21) and manifold (22) from mounting plate (23).

b.

Inspection

Inspect manifold (22). Replace if cracked or damaged.
