Installation

Install mounting brackets (10 and 11), four flat washers (15), two cap screws (14), and two cap screws (13).

If necessary for replacement, install identification marker (12) on primary accumulator (5) (para 2–7).

Position primary accumulator (5) in mounting brackets (10 and 11).

Install two retaining straps (9), four hex nuts (8), four new lockwashers (7), four flat washers (6.1) and four

cap screws (6) to secure primary accumulator (5) on mounting brackets (10 and 11). Torque screws to 33-37

lb-ft (45-50 N

.

m).

Install retaining strap (5.2) and two screws (5.1) on end of primary accumulator (5).

Install bushing (4), two new preformed packings (3), flat washer (2) and new locknut (1) on primary accumu-

lator (5).

Install tube tee at primary accumulator and install lines to tube tee (para 6–25).
