39.Install input oil pump driven gear (Figure 24, Item 1) over input oil pump shaft (Figure 24, Item 10) and woodruff
key (Figure 23, Item 11).
40.Put screwdriver (Figure 24, Item 3) between input oil pump driven gear (Figure 24, Item 1) and input oil pump
drive gear (Figure 24, Item 2) to stop gears from turning.
41.Install new nut (Figure 24, Item 4) that keeps input oil pump driven gear (Figure 24, Item 1) in position. Do
a check of prevailing torque by measuring the torque required to turn nut (Figure 24, Item 4). Record the
prevailing torque.
42.Torque nut (Figure 24, Item 4) to 30 lb-ft (40 N·m) plus prevailing torque.
