5.9.5.2.1 Removal
1.
Remove Top Cover (ref. 5.4.1)
2.
Disconnect Fuel Pump connector (J4) from the Wiring Harness.
Note: The connector is released by lifting the locking tab and gently pulling
apart the two halves.

!CAUTION!
Do not cut fuel line across hose barb!
This will cause leaks when the new fuel line is put on!
!WARNING!
Do not let fuel run down into heater.
3.
Cut the fuel line about ½” from hose barb on the fuel manifold. Make sure to catch any
fuel with a fuel absorbent mat.
4.
Cut the fuel line length wise, up to the hose barb.
5.
Grab half of the split hose with needle nose pliers and tear away from the hose barb. Do
the same for the short hose on the fuel manifold.
