8. Inspection of the Clamp.
a. Inspect clamp (1) for cracks or separated welds.
b. Inspect nut (2) and stud (3) for thread damage.

Replace damaged clamp or nut.

a. Inspect mounting legs (1) for cracks.
b. Inspect oil drain tube (2) for cracks, bends, or crushed condition.
