INSTALLATION

NOTE

New Production vehicles are equipped with a steel dozer blade which includes a cut-out and

cover at top rear of dozer blade.

Perform step 1 if installing cover.

Install new bushings on all pivot points of apron and dozer assembly, if installing new dozer

blade.

Steps 1 and 2 apply to Figure 45.

1. Connect chain to dozer blade (1).

Connect lifting device to chain and take up slack.

WARNING

Lifting device must have a weight capacity greater than 585 lb (266 kg).

Ensure dozer blade

is securelyl supported before installing outer pivot pins.

Failure to comply may result in sever

injury to personnel.

Personnel must stand clear during lifting operations.

A swinging or shifting load may result in

injury to personnel.

2. Place dozer blade (1) on supports in front of vehicle, and align pivot points of apron (2) and dozer blade (1).
