a. Disassembly

Using fabricated eccentric tool (fig. C-2, appx C)

remove rings (1 and 2) and eccentric bushings (3

and 4).

Slide fire control levels (5 and 6) from bracket (7)

and from level vial covers (8 and 9).

Remove level vial covers (8 and 9) from between

bosses of bracket (7).

b. Repair

Remove corrosion, grease, and dirt from all parts.

Refer to TM 9-254 for cleaning instructions.

Visually inspect for missing or damaged parts.

Repair or replace parts in accordance with

authorized parts listed in appendix D.
