CTA 50-970, applicable to your unit.

Special tools, TMDE, and support equipment required and authorized for repair of the M42 periscope are listed in the
repair parts and special tools list, appendix D. Fabricated tools are located in appendix C.

Inspection is performed primarily to determine the following:
