View auxiliary telescope (5) vertical reticle line

through collimating telescope (7) and revolve auxil-

iary telescope (5) until image of vertical reticle line

is in coincidence with preplumbed vertical reticle

line of collimating telescope (7).

Using parallel bars, adjust height of collimating

telescope (7) to height of collimating projector (3)

on inspection fixture (1).

Place collimating telescope (7) in line with collimat-

ing projector (3).

View collimating projector (3) vertical reticle line

through collimating telescope (7) and revolve col-

limating projector (3) until image of vertical reticle

line is in coincidence with preplumbed vertical

reticle line of collimating telescope (7).

Using collimating projector (3) light source, autocol-

Iimate auxiliary telescope (5), using support (6)

adjusting screws (9), until reticle image is superim-

posed on image reflected by the reflecting mirror

(2).

Look through collimating projector (3) and autocol-

Iimate collimating projector using collimating pro-

jector (3) support screws (10), until reticle image is

superimposed on image reflected by reflecting mir-

ror (2).

Repeat steps 11 thru 15 to check that trueness of

retitles has not been disturbed.

Remove reflecting mirrors (2) from inspection fix-

ture (1).
