NOTE

Assistant will help with steps 56 through 63.

Position input shaft (1) on arbor press with LO-speed gear (2) facing upward.

Press input shaft (1) out of spacer ring (3) and LO-speed gear (2).

Press two bearings (4) and spacer (5) out of LO-speed gear (2).

Remove synchronizer (6) from input shaft (1).

Remove retaining ring (9) from input shaft (1).

Position input shaft (1) on arbor press with HI-speed gear (12) facing upward.

Press input shaft (1) out of rear bearing (10), washer (11), and HI-speed gear (12).

Press two bearings (8) and spacer (7) out of HI-speed gear (12).
