REMOVAL
NOTE
Perform Steps (1) and (2) only on vehicles with hard top kit.
1.
Remove two screws (Figure 1, Item 3) and lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 2) from roof (Figure 1, Item 7) and
corner post (Figure 1, Item 5). Discard lockwashers.
2.
Remove four nuts (Figure 1, Item 1) and hook bolts (Figure 1, Item 4) from roof (Figure 1, Item 7) and windshield
frame (Figure 1, Item 6).
3.
Remove hose clamp (Figure 1, Item 14) and wiper hose (Figure 1, Item 10) from copper air line
(Figure
1,
Item
13).
4.
Remove six screws (Figure 1, Item 8) and lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 9) from two windshield hinges
(Figure
1,
Item
12) and windshield frame (Figure 1, Item 6). Discard lockwashers.
5.
Open doors (Figure 1, Item 11) and remove windshield frame (Figure 1, Item 6) from two windshield hinges
(Figure 1, Item 12).
