Refer to TB 43-0142 for cable and clevis assemblies that must be proof-load tested.
11.
Place clevis socket (Figure 8, Item 1) over end of cable (Figure 8, Item 3) and install on threaded sleeve
(Figure
8, Item 4). Tighten clevis socket on threaded sleeve until only 3 to 5 threads are exposed. Ensure
cable is visible through inspection hole (Figure 8, Item 2) of clevis socket (Figure 8, Item 1).
