Remove the adjusting screw access plug from

CAUTIO N

TM 9-2320-273-34

the regulator (fig. 5-2).

Do not attempt to force the voltage

adjusting screw past its normal stop

as damage will result.

Using a small screwdriver, carefully turn the adjusting screw clockwise to raise the voltage,

or counterclockwise to lower the voltage. The correct voltage is 13.6 to 14.2 volts dc.

Replace the access screw plug in the regulator.
