(9) Apply silastic gasket material (Item 29, App B) to the mating surface for the lower rear

output shaft cover gasket. Install the gasket. Apply silastic gasket material to the gasket.

(10) Install the bearing cover (fig. 8-48). Oil the studs and install six Iockwasher and nuts.

Torque the nuts to 25 Ib-ft (34 NŽm).
