FIELD LEVEL MAINTENANCE

WARNING LIGHT AND CHECK FOR OPEN COMPARTMENT DOOR WHEN LIGHT IS ON FLASHER UNIT(S)

REPLACEMENT

INITIAL SETUP:

REMOVAL

NOTE

•

Remove cable ties as required.

•

Tag and mark wires prior to removal to ensure proper installation.

•

Flasher units may be rectangular or oval.

Both are replaced the same way.

•

Perform Steps (1) and (2) if upper rear warning light flasher unit needs to be removed.

1.

Disconnect cab instrument panel wire harness connector (1) from upper rear warning light flasher unit wire

connector (2).

2.

Remove two locknuts (3), nylon washers (4), screws (5), and upper rear warning light flasher unit (6) from cab

instrument panel A (7).

Discard locknuts.
