h. Relief Valve Adjustment.
(1)
Raise dump body to maintenance position (TM 9-
2320-366-10-1).
(2)
Position drain pan under four way relief valve (1).
(3)
Install adapter (2) and test hose (3) on tee fitting
(4).
(4)
Disconnect hose A (5) from tee fitting (6).
(5)
Install cap (7) on tee fitting.
(6)
Install plug (8) in hose A (5).
(7)
Install high pressure transducer (9) (0-10,000 psi
[0-68,965 kPa]) on test hose (3).
(8)
Connect pressure test cable (10) to pressure
transducer (9) and to STE/ICE.
WARNING
Wear appropriate eye protection when
performing pressure checks.
Failure to
comply may result in oil getting into eyes.
If oil contacts eyes, seek medical attention
immediately.
Failure to comply may result
in injury to personnel.
Prolonged contact with lubricating oil
(MIL-L-2104) may cause a skin rash.
Skin
and clothing that comes into contact with
lubricating oil should be thoroughly
washed immediately.
Areas in which
lubricating oil is used should be well
ventilated to keep fumes to a minimum.
Failure to comply may result in injury to
personnel.
Lubricating oil is slippery and can cause
falls.
Wipe up spilled oil with rags.
Failure
to comply may result in injury to
personnel.
NOTE
Route test hose between frame and exit under
vehicle.
