Start engine (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).

Position PTO switch to ON (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).

Attach a temperature indicator sticker to hydraulic
oil tank (3).

Increase engine RPM to 1250-1450 (TM 9-2320-
366-10-1).
(10) Press and hold DUMP BED UP/DOWN switch (4)
in down position until hydraulic oil temperature
reaches 140-160º F (60-70ºC).
(11) Press and hold DUMP BED UP/DOWN switch to the
UP position until the dump body is approximately 8
in. (200 mm) above the maintenance legs.
CAUTION
Hydraulic oil temperature must be 140-160º
F
(60-70º
C)
prior
to
performing
adjustment.
Failure to comply may result in
inaccurate test results.
NOTE
•
Holding DUMP BED UP/DOWN switch in
the DOWN position will force hydraulic oil
through relief valve and cause oil
temperature to rise.
•
Measure hydraulic oil temperature near
bottom of hydraulic reservoir.
•
Steps (10) through (16) require the aid of
an assistant.
