RAISE BOOM TO OPERATING POSITION - Continued
CAUTION
Do not let cable unwind and become slack or cable may get tangled on
drum.
1.
Move HOIST control lever (1) to DOWN position and lower hoist cable (2)
approximately 1 ft. (30 cm).

CAUTION
•
Release hook lock before disconnecting load hook from stowage ring
bracket to avoid hook lock damage.
•
Do not let load hook fall and hit bracket.
2.
Disconnect load hook (3) from stowage ring bracket (4).
