Is 18-30 VDC present at

intervehicular cable pin E?

No.

Replace intervehicular cable

(WP 0062 00).

1.

Set multimeter to VDC.

Yes.

Replace voltage converter

box (WP 0058 00).

2.

Disconnect intervehicular

cable connector from

voltage converter box.

3.

Connect positive (+) probe

of multimeter to

intervehicular cable pin E.

4.

Connect negative (-) probe

of multimeter to a known

good ground.

5.

Position main light switch to

SER DRIVE on towing

vehicle and note reading on

multimeter.
