Are lines 2224, 2225, 2226, 2231, 2232 and fittings free of crimps?
DECISION
Lines OK - Go to (Step 2 - Does air bag control valve release air from air bag?)
Lines Damaged - Replace damaged air line(s) (WP
0067). Go to (Step 3 - Does the drawbar remained lowered?)
to verify problem is solved.
STEP 2
Does air bag control valve release air from air bag?
WARNING
Air systems are under pressure. Be sure to wear the proper eye protection to avoid injury or
death. If air hoses are disconnected while under 90 to 125 psi (621-862 kPa) of pressure,
they can whip around. Air system should be drained before air hoses are disconnected.
Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
WARNING
Drawbar weighs 425 lbs (193 kg). Drawbar may raise quickly or fall suddenly to the ground
when released from coupler. Do not allow feet or body to get under or above drawbar. Failure
to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.

Move air bag control lever in the down position. Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10 (WP
0190).

Disconnect air hose 2231 from relief valve.
3.
Raise air bag control lever to up position. Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10 (WP
0190).
