CONDITION/INDICATION
Is drawbar free of damage or binding?
DECISION
Drawbar OK - Go to (Step 2 - Are air lines 2226, 2224, 2228, fittings, air bag control valve, inversion valve, air bag
and safety valve free of leaks?).
Damaged - Repair drawbar (WP
0103). Go to (Step 13 - Does drawbar raise and remain raised?) to verify problem
is solved.
STEP 2
Are air lines 2226, 2224, 2228, fittings, air bag control valve, inversion valve, air bag and safety valve free of
leaks?
WARNING
If air lines are disconnected when they are under 125 ±5 psi (862 ±34 kPa) pressure,
they can whip around. Be sure to wear eye protection and exercise care when
disconnecting an air hose that is thought to be under pressure. Failure to comply may
result in injury or death to personnel.
Remain clear of drawbar when it is raised. Failure to comply may result in injury or
death to personnel.
NOTE
Air lines and valves listed in this troubleshooting procedure are illustrated and located in Air
System Schematic.
1.
Start engine. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
2.
Push in trailer charge valve in vehicle. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
