STEP 3
Does air bag control valve release air from air bag?
1.
Move air bag control lever in the down position. Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10
(WP
0190).
2.
Disconnect air hose 2231 from relief valve.

Raise air bag control lever to up position. Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10

4.
As assistant lowers air bag control lever to down position, listen to air hose 2231. Refer to TM
9-2330-342-10 (WP
0190).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Does air bag control valve release air from air bag?
DECISION
Air Escaping - Replace relief valve (WP
0088). Go to (Step 4 - Does the drawbar lower?Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10
(WP
0190)) to verify problem is solved.
No Air - Replace air bag control valve (WP
0081). Go to (Step 4 - Does the drawbar lower?Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10
(WP
0190)) to verify problem is solved.
STEP 4

1.
Raise air bag control lever to center position. .
2.
Connect air hose 2231 to relief valve.
3.
Ensure vehicle is returned to normal operating condition.
4.
Raise air bag control lever to up position. Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10

5.
Lower air bag control lever to down position. Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10 (WP
0190).
