STEP 12

Do taillights operate?

1.

If removed, install cover on rear junction box (WP

0058).

2.

If removed, install diode assembly (WP

0059).

3.

Ensure vehicle is returned to normal operating condition.

4.

Have assistant turn engine start switch to ON. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

5.

Have assistant turn ON lights. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

Observe taillights.

7.

Have assistant turn OFF lights. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

8.

Have assistant turn engine start switch to OFF. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

CONDITION/INDICATION

Do taillights operate?

DECISION

Both Lights ON - Problem fixed.

One or Both Lights Out - Problem is not fixed. Problem may have been missed during previous steps of

troubleshooting. Repeat all previous steps of this procedure. Go to (Step 1 - Does test equipment pass offset

test?). If problem still exists after all troubleshooting tests are accomplished, contact your Supervisor.
