Connect TK pressure transducer (blue stripe) to air hose 2545.

Perform ICE Offset Test 50.
CONDITION/INDICATION
Does test equipment pass offset test?
DECISION
Yes - Go to (Step 5 - Does brake relay valve supply 60 ± 5 psi (414 ± 34 kPa) to brake chambers?).
No - Test equipment failed offset. Contact your Supervisor.
STEP 5
Does brake relay valve supply 60 ± 5 psi (414 ± 34 kPa) to brake chambers?
1.
Have assistant turn engine start switch to ON. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
2.
Push in trailer charge valve in vehicle. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
3.
Perform ICE Test 50.
4.
While assistant fully applies brake pedal, observe meter. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
5.
Meter should display 60 ± 5 psi (414 ± 34 kPa).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Does brake relay valve supply 60 ± 5 psi (414 ± 34 kPa) to brake chambers?
DECISION
Yes - Go to (Step 6 - Are brake drums free of contaminants and/or damage?).
No - Replace relay valve (WP
0076). Go to (Step 9 - Do trailer brakes grab when brake pedal is applied?) to verify
problem is solved.
STEP 6
Are brake drums free of contaminants and/or damage?
1.
Release brake pedal. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
2.
Pull out trailer charge valve in vehicle. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
3.
Have assistant turn engine start switch to OFF. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
4.
Disconnect TK pressure transducer (blue stripe) from air hose 2545.
5.
Connect air hose 2545 to right front brake chamber.
