REMOVAL

NOTE

Right and left axle tiedown brackets are removed and installed the same way.

Remove two locknuts (Figure 1, Item 4), axle tiedown bracket (Figure 1, Item 3), and U-bolt (Figure 1, Item 2)

from axle (Figure 1, Item 1). Discard locknuts.

INSTALLATION

1.

Position U-bolt (Figure 2, Item 3), axle tiedown bracket (Figure 2, Item 4), and two locknuts (Figure 2, Item 5)

on axle (Figure 2, Item 2), 0.500 in. (12.7 mm) from suspension hanger U-bolt (Figure 2, Item 1).
